The Bunug - A Fictional Character Made Up By Me

My Reflection:
We did an information report about a fake animal after researching New Zealand birds for a few weeks this term.
It was tricky because I had to use my imagination, there were no real facts about this so I had to completely make it up.
My next step would be to try and add more detail to my writing so it comes to life !

Kakapo vs.kiwi Venn Diagram

                              We have been learning about these two birds for inquiry and writing this term.We                                        have written information report on them. We found out they are actually very different. So we created this Venn diagram to see their differences and things that are the same about them. I found this easy because we had learnt a lot about them before we did this activity. My next step is to find out more about less popular native New Zealand birds.

My Reflection
I found this tricky because I did not now what do Moari words mean.
Next time i well try to remember the words that the teacher says in Moari.
I learnt that in the Moari Harakeke is very important.
